Phase 3
Landing Page Optimization
Create and optimize local landing pages that convert visitors with proper on-page SEO, schema markup, and locally relevant content.
Lesson 1 of 3
Local Landing Pages

- Include location and service keywords in the URL slug
- Place your business name, address, and phone number (NAP) prominently above the fold
- Add an embedded Google Map showing your business location
- Include your target keyword in the page title, H1 heading, and first paragraph
- Add unique local content: neighborhood references, landmarks, driving directions
- Include a strong call-to-action (call, book, get a quote) above the fold
- Add customer testimonials from clients in that specific area
Lesson 2 of 3

- Craft compelling meta descriptions under 160 characters with a call-to-action
- Use one H1 tag per page containing your primary local keyword
- Structure content with H2 and H3 sub-headings using related keywords
- Write at least 1,000 words of unique, locally relevant body copy
- Optimize images with descriptive alt text including location keywords
- Compress images for fast page load times
- Add internal links to related service and location pages
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and fast Core Web Vitals scores
